The structured use of H1 through H6 tags to organise page content logically. Proper hierarchy means starting with one H1, followed by H2s for main sections, H3s for subsections, and so on without skipping levels. This structure helps screen readers navigate content, signals topic organisation to search engines, and improves scannability for all visitors. We treat heading hierarchy as essential, not optional, in every build.
